Description
EBC is a Southern Baptist Church with a statement of faith in line with The Baptist Faith and Message that was adopted by the Southern Baptist convention June 14, 2000. We are members of the Sinnissippi Association of the Illinois Baptist State Association (www.ibsa.org) who’s purpose is to assist in establishing and developing effective churches in their context. We support various local and overseas Missions.

Music
We never know if the Spirit will speak to us through a hymn or contemporary song, so our worship is a mixture of both types of music.
During our VBS, children were singing praises to God.
Messages
The Bible speaks to us through the Holy Spirit and gives us wisdom and guidance. Through the lessons and messages, you will experience how to apply the truth and knowledge you obtain from the Bible to your daily life.
Discipleship
We are discipleship focused. This means we are driven to build others up in their faith in Jesus, by teaching, walking with and encouraging each other.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
