Pastor Chris Nolin came to Emmanuel Baptist Church in the summer of 2019, following his service as a pastor and church planter in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and East Asia. He and his wife Nancy have two sons;  Jonathan who attends Sauk Valley Community College, and Stephen who is a student at Wheaton College.

Chris has a Doctorate of Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary, in Lithonia, Georgia. He also holds an MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas and a BA in Religious Studies from the University of South Florida.

Additionally, Pastor Chris serves as the Director of Missions for the Sinnissippi Baptist Association to help support local churches as they fulfill the Great Commission of telling others about how they can know Jesus Christ and grow in their faith.
