Pastor Chris Nolin has served as the pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church since the summer of 2019. Before coming to Emmanuel, he served as a pastor and church planter in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and East Asia. Through these years of ministry, Pastor Chris has developed a deep passion for faithfully teaching God’s Word, encouraging believers in their walk with Christ, and helping the local church fulfill its mission to share the gospel and make disciples.
Pastor Chris and his wife, Nancy, have been married for over 35 years. Together, they have two adult sons, Jonathan and Stephen, and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Laurel. Family is an important part of their lives, and they are grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord and the Emmanuel Baptist Church family together.
Pastor Chris holds a Doctor of Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of South Florida. He is committed to Christ-centered, biblical preaching and to serving the church and community with humility, compassion, and faithfulness.
Other “Staff”
At Emmanuel Baptist Church, much of what happens each week is made possible through the faithful and generous service of our church family. Our members volunteer their time and talents to care for our grounds and facilities, assist with cleaning and office work, faithfully give through tithes and offerings, provide sound and technical support for our services, help with broadcasting, and maintain our church website.
As a small congregation, we understand that supporting the many ministries of the church can sometimes be challenging. Yet we are grateful for the many ways God works through His people when we serve together.
We invite you to prayerfully consider how you might become involved and use your time, talents, and gifts to serve alongside us. Whether you are able to help with a ministry, lend a hand with practical needs, or simply encourage others, your service makes a difference. Together, we can continue sharing the love of Christ and spreading the Gospel throughout our church, community, and beyond.
