Baptist Children’s Home
Baptist Children’s Home & Family Services has been caring for children and families in Illinois since 1918. It began 1918 in response to a need in Illinois to care for dependent children who were orphaned as a result of WWI and the great influenza epidemic that struck Illinois.
Angel’s Cove
At Angels’ Cove in Mt. Vernon, pregnancy care is offered as a positive alternative to abortion. A comfortable, home-like setting provides a soothing sense of family and a calming, peaceful environment to our resident mothers-to-be and their children. Assistance is provided in the positive choices of parenting and adoption with neither option stressed more than the other.

During Twists and Turns VBS 2023, children & youth collected items for the Baptist Children’s Home in Carmi, IL.
During Spark Studios VBS 2022, children collected baby items, pampering mothers items and pantry items.
